Through all of my accomplishments I came to the conclusion that my house is the one memorable thing I have in Hayward. Other then that Hayward is just another city in the whole world. Its a place where I always can be at. It's a place where I can spend it with my family. It's our very own shelter we all living in.
My house is a place where I have been at the whole time I have lived out here in Hayward. We have remodeled that house to our own comfort. Even though it is not all ours yet we all basically adapted to it like if it was really all ours. We all just have a special place we come to everyday and it is a place I call home. My home is a comfort living where I have basically grown up in since I was two years old. It's the first place I miss when i'm out of town.
This house is a place where all the friends and family gather on special occasions and events. We all use the minimum excuse to just make a barbecue and or a simple kick back with all the family and friends. When the whole family reunites I get a great feeling knowing that we all get along amongst each others. My family is the closest thing I have to me. We all just have a good time together laughing and smiling and sharing stuff amongst each other.
Even though I can't take the house with me I will always have in mind all the beautiful memories I have gone through in that place I call home. When I get my own place I am going to make sure I make it as special as this one, but I sure won't ever forget this place. There is too many memories in that house that when I move out I am sure going to miss it. This is a place I will always keep in mind, a place that reminds me of Hayward, a place I call home.

Semester Reflection

Congratulations! You've made it halfway through the semester and in five months you'll be graduating high school!!! For the following entry, I'd like you to reflect on the semester, with each reflection being a minimum of 5 sentences.

1) Reflect on your final grade in this class. What will you do to either keep the grade you received or how will you genuinely work to improve your grade in this class? (minimum of 5 sentence reflection).
My final grade in this class was an A. To keep this grade through the next semester I would have to keep on working hard. I will do all my work that is assigned and turn it in on time. I will keep up to date with my teacher on the day I am absent. Overall I will try my hardest to keep my A until the day I walk the stage.

2) What was your favorite project this past semester and why? What was your least favorite project and why?(minimum of 5 sentence reflection).
My favorite project was the "iPod" silhouette. It was a good and fun activity as we got the opportunity to wear our project. The least project I liked was the documentary film on the 99% protest. I didn't like it because it was kind of confusing at first and not all our group would collaborate.

3) How has your senior year been so far? Are you working towards your goals of graduating? If yes, what are you doing to making sure you stay on track? If no, what has been stopping you from reaching the goal of graduating?(minimum of 5 sentence reflection).
My senior year has been stressing, too many things have been coming up at once that I have to make a decision on. Yes, I am working as hard as I can to keep up with all my work and trying to redo the classes I have to so not only I can graduate but so I can be A-G for college.

4) What are you looking forward to most about graduating high school? (minimum of 5 sentence reflection).
I am looking forward to looking at all my hard work being payed off. I am also looking forward to starting college. This is all for the better of my future. I am also looking forward to making my parents proud and giving my sisters an example and giving my brother a push so he can strive for more.

Assignment #14: Revised Artist Statement

Mayra Palencia
Emotions

This Pablo Picasso piece is named, Emotions, I named my piece emotions because of all the different colors and feelings it portrays. My image has many emotions to it but overall it has more of one color then others. At first I tried to use the blue period as an example to show dark and sad emotions. Then I realized that that was just not me. I wanted to show a different side of me so I decided to just start adding dark colors to my eyes. After I decided to add all different kind of variety of colors since I'm not just in one mood, just like any human I switch moods all the time. Overall I started putting different kinds of green since it means happy which at the end of the day I will always try to maintain to be happy no matter what.

Assignment 12: Individual Research Outline

 Introduction
My research question is, "How do the protesters plan to take action?" This question will help me by trying to figure out what the people are planning to do. It would go more in to deep on how the people are planning to make a difference. This question might have varieties of answer but at the end of the day witch one is the main one done to make a change, and make it happen.

A.) The protestors are trying to make their word be heard through out the world.
They get on the news and catch the attention of people.
They talk friends and family in to it.
B.) They get together and set up a strike.
Spreading the word around and making flyers everywhere for people to see.
Talking to people that are involved on making this strikes and protests happen.
C.) Camping out
Protestors are planning to camp out even if they get kicked out by the police they will keep doing it un till the government takes action on making a difference.
By the protestors leaving everything behind and camping out it is showing the government that they are being serious and that no matter what they will make the impossible to make the world an equal environment.

Conclusion
In conclusion the protestors are trying to make a difference for the future. They will have their voices heard because we are a democracy. We all take part in the environment therefor we should make it possible to have it equal as we are all human and have responsibilities to take.
